Coping. The finishing edge around the pool or spa is a major visual element. We supply and install various types of coping, pre-cast coping, bricks, and pavers, in a variety of shapes, textures, and colors. We can help you with creative solutions to your pool coping ideas. There are endless possibilities for adding extras when remodeling your swimming pool. When you include additional features to your swimming pool area, you are enhancing and customizing your backyard environment. Remember–even the smallest changes can make a difference with a pool remodel. Not only will these features add enjoyment to your swimming pool experience, but can also possibly add value to your home.
Deck Caulking and Expansion Joints. Deck caulking and expansion joint caulking is important in keeping water out of areas that could be damaged during winter. Specifically, this prevents water seeping and freezing under coping stones.
Pool Tile Replacement. We supply and install the largest selection of pool and spa tiles. All natural colors and texture palettes that you will find anywhere. If your tile is outdated, we can bring back the whole look of your pool vibrant again.
Pebble Technology Pool Finish. A natural Pebble Tec pool finish can provide a lifetime of worry free relaxation. Pebble Tec is the original alternative to a plaster pool.
While pebble surfaces are more expensive than plaster, these finishes are considered quite durable and stain-resistant as pebbles react less with pool chemicals. The higher price tag is that this type of pool surface can last between 15 and 20 years. The finest pebbles and seashells are imported from around the world to create five (5) beautiful and distinctively different product lines found.
Plaster Pool Finish sometimes called marcelite or whiteout, is the most popular interior pool finish due to cost. The advantages of plaster is that it requires minimal maintenance, and it is very durable. The lifetime for pool plaster is about 6-8 years. Plaster is one of the most used pool finishes. This surface is hard, yet smooth and appears white in color. This can cause your pool water to appear bright, clean and light blue. It is also considered one of the most affordable methods of resurfacing a pool.
Sandblast Pool Interior. Sandblasting is recommended prior to repainting the pool to ensure the right adhesion of the new coat. An important step when the current paint coat is very deteriorated, or when the homeowner wishes to plaster the pool that was previously painted.
Water Blast Pool Interior. Water Blast (aka Water Jetting) Pool Interior. Water jetting, also called water blasting, uses a pump to push water through a hose and out a jetted wand at high pressure. This process has long been used for purposes such as paint removal and pipe cleaning. Some professionals rely on water blasting to remove one or more layers of plaster, while others just use it to remove paint or to etch an existing surface.
Paint Pool Interior. Colony Pool Service of Delaware, Inc. is an expert in pool interior painting. Our professionally trained technicians are able to analyze the type of paint that you previously used to assure the best adhesion of the new paint coat. We carry rubber base paint, synthetic rubber paint, epoxy paint, water base acrylic paint, and vinyl base paint in different color options.
Pool Deck Replacement. The pool deck is a finishing touch of a pool or spa installation prior to landscaping. We are experts in concrete decks, stamped concrete, concrete pavers, and stone pavers. Our professional staff will discuss all decking options and types with you to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
